This enables us to get the consumer the wide range of products at discounted prices.

We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Counter Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our clients while managing various tasks related to dealership operations. This position requires strong communication skills, the ability to handle cash transactions, and a basic understanding of automotive repair processes. A background in retail sales or experience in a dealership environment is highly desirable.

Responsibilities
• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries regarding automotive parts and services.
• Process cash transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining a balanced cash drawer.
• Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to manage inventory and track orders effectively.
• Communicate clearly with customers and team members to ensure all needs are met promptly.
• Negotiate pricing and service options with customers, ensuring satisfaction while adhering to dealership policies.
• Maintain an organized workspace, ensuring that all parts and supplies are easily accessible.
• Assist in retail sales by promoting products and services that meet customer needs.
• Stay updated on market trends and new automotive products to provide informed recommendations to customers.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a dealership or automotive repair environment is preferred.
  • Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail in processing transactions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for inventory management and reporting purposes.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this will enhance customer interactions.
  • Ability to negotiate effectively while maintaining a positive customer experience.
  • A passion for the automotive industry and a willingness to learn about new products and services.
  • Preferred Qualification: Valid First Aid and CPR Certification
