The Branding Company (TBC) is a one-stop promotional management solutions boutique that offers tailored professional solutions to the North American marketplace. Our infrastructure offers the support to deliver branded promotional programs, full service creative advertising and custom design, complete print on demand capabilities, warehousing and fulfillment along with incentive initiatives.
The Project Coordinator supports a sales team which includes, but is not limited to, product sourcing, preparation of quotations, presentations, placing orders, order follow-up, working closely with vendors and internal TBC staff to ensure that all orders are delivered on time and in a professional manner, cross-selling client opportunities, business development and support to a corporate business environment.
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Assisting in operating the firms’ objectives.
- Identify potential key accounts and develop them by applying a key account strategy in coordination with the sales team.
- Continue to build and maintain relationships with customers and key industry role players.
- Client management and program development, preparation of the quotations, proposals and fully understanding the client requirements.
- Regular client contact keeping them updated on project progress, the latest opportunities and follow up to ensure full satisfaction with product and services.
- Sourcing and procuring incentive and promotional merchandise from inception to delivery of goods to financial preparation for invoicing.
- Assisting in advertising and marketing related functions such as industry publications, advertising, trade shows and marketing materials to promote TBC.
- Record all project expenditures and reconcile to client budgets.
- Assisting in the preparation of training session and documents for the training manual along with maintaining quote templates and checklists.
- Assist in the preparation of meetings, organize/attend client on-site visits/trade shows and any sales related events throughout the year (some overnight travel may be required).
- Gather information and maintain weekly metrics.
- Develop and maintain the client databases.
- Provide constructive criticism and ideas for solutions in order to improve the company’s service performance, industry image and profitability.
- Provide support to the TBC team.
- Attend trade shows, seminars and training courses, in order to upgrade your knowledge of all areas and develop your own personal skills in new technologies, service areas, products, etc. (some overnight travel may be required).
- As a small business the TBC Project Coordination Team will be responsible for the up-keep of the office for organization, cleanliness, removing excess packaging, coordination of the storage areas, receiving and so forth on an on-going basis.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education or equivalent and 2-3 years of related experience including sales administration/project management.
- Strong competency in computer skills including Microsoft Outlook (e-mail), Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Excellent organizational, communication and multi-tasking skills.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong skills in new business development.
- Able to work both independently and without close supervision and to work effectively as a team member.
- Energetic, tenacious driven and goal orientated.
- A strong service orientation.
- Presentable and professional.
