Duties

Specific Skills
Supervise workers and projects, Co-ordinate and schedule activities, Train or arrange for training, Set up machines and equipment, Ensure health and safety regulations are followed, Recommend personnel actions, Read blueprints and drawings, Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies

Additional Skills 
Prepare production and other reports, Oversee apprenticeship training, Estimate costs and materials

Workers Supervised
Cladders/siding installers, Apprentices, Trades helpers, Labourers, Insulators

Working at heights training

 

Qualifications

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years

Ability to Supervise 5-10 people

Own Tools/Equipment, Steel-toed safety boots, Hard hat, Safety glasses/goggles

Security and Safety: Basic security clearance

Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's license, Willing to travel, Own transportation

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work under pressure, Overtime required

Work Location Information: Willing to relocate

Work Site Environment: Outdoors

Personal Suitability: Organized, Team player, Reliability, Excellent oral communication
