Duties
BB Gunn Contracting Ltd provides complete turnkey solutions of steel buildings since 1989. BB Gunn Contracting tackles the complete construction of the metal building from the primary and secondary structure, insulation, metal roofing/siding and trims.
We are looking to hire Pre-engineered Metal Building Ironworkers
Duties include:
• Assembly of Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings, all bolted connections, minimal to no welding required.
• Bolting up Steel at heights either off the steel or out of man lifts.
• Torquing, and plumbing of steel to ensure level and square.
• Types of buildings erected: Steelway, Behlen, Butler, Robertson, American, Nucor, Varco Pruden, Corle and Braemar.
Related trades with most success transferring to become Pre-engineered metal building ironworkers: Wood/Metal framers, residential commercial roofers, commercial high rise construction related experience.
Qualifications
• Transportation to get to job sites or a ride to meet up with a company vehicle at meeting points.
• Training certificates-Working at Heights, Aerial platform. Training certificates are beneficial but not a must. (In-house training available).
• Previous experience in metal building installation an asset, but not a must, willing to train.
• Positive attitude.
• Hard Working.
