Duties

  • Welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Take customer orders accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
  • Process cash, debit, credit, and mobile payments accurately.
  • Answer guest questions and provide menu recommendations.
  • Assemble and verify customer orders before serving.
  • Prepare beverages and assist with basic food preparation as required.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the front counter, dining room, beverage station, and washrooms.
  • Restock condiments, cups, napkins, and other front counter supplies.
  • Resolve guest concerns professionally or refer issues to management.
  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and cash handling procedures.
  • Support kitchen and dining room operations during peak periods.
  • Assist with opening and closing duties.

Qualifications

  • Previous customer service or cash handling experience is an asset but not required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Experience using or willingness to learn POS systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask effectively.
  • Reliable, punctual, and dependable.

Eligibility

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic math and cash handling skills.
  • Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Available for flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts where applicable.
  • Able to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Able to follow food safety procedures and use required PPE
