Monday-Friday, primarily days with one evening shift until 8 p.m.

Duties

As a Concurrent Disorders (CD) Supervisor you will collaborate with the program and departmental leadership team to ensure we provide the best care possible.  The CD Program provides assessment, support planning, individual/group counselling, outreach, referrals to Day and Bed Based Treatment and continuing care services to individuals experiencing substance use or a concurrent disorder. 

As the CD Supervisor, you would:

  • Provide staff with administrative and clinical supervision
  • Develop and evaluate program activities
  • Facilitate and/or participate in department case management meetings
  • Monitor referral and intake activities
  • Provide direct client service consisting of intake, assessment, and treatment including individual and/or group counselling.
  • Participate in Agency recruiting process, including interviewing and initial training
  • Liaise and collaborate with direct community partners 
  • Monitor data quality and support program improvement

Qualifications

  • Have a college diploma in a Social Services field, with a University Degree in Social Sciences preferred
  • Provide proof of current registration in good standing with a governing body related to the program (i.e., OCSWSSW, CRPO)
  • Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in related field
  • Skills in leadership and teaching/coaching
  • Be proficient in MS Office and be familiar with databases
  • Have access to reliable transportation
  • Have skills in mediation, conflict resolution, and/or leadership training
  • Be able to manage occasional exposure to vicarious traumatic stress
