Position Details

  • Hours: 37.5 hours/week | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–3:00 PM.  Every other week, 7:00 AM-6:00 PM on Friday, with flex day off in that week.      Must be flexible to work weekends, afternoons and nights to accommodate needs of program.

At the Peter Willis Residence, we support federally sentenced men as they transition back into society—offering counselling, employment services, and life skills that empower them to lead positive, productive lives.

We’re looking for a dedicated and dynamic Supervisor to lead our incredible team and help shape the future of our program. If you're a natural leader with a heart for social impact, this is your chance to make a real difference.


What You’ll Do

As the Supervisor, you’ll be at the heart of our mission, responsible for:

  • Leading and supporting a passionate team of staff
  • Overseeing daily operations and program activities
  • Managing budgets and monitoring expenditures
  • Driving outreach through innovative marketing strategies
  • Providing supportive, one-on-one counselling
  • Coordinating client screening, orientation, and intake
  • Assisting with institutional visits
  • Tracking and documenting client progress and activities

Qualifications

  • College diploma in related Social/Human Sciences
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working with individuals with substance use problems and involvement in the criminal justice system
  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with databases
  • Accessibility to reliable transportation – frequent travel to, and work conducted in, correctional environments
  • Mediation, conflict resolution, leadership skills
  • Must be granted Reliability Status before employment can start
  • Ability to manage occasional exposure to vicarious traumatic stress
