Duties

Town and Country Sales & Service is a family owned RV dealership and repair shop serving the Brantford area. New and used trailers, farm equipment and turf equipment. Repairs to all makes and models of lawn mower, snow blower, chainsaw, trimmer, recreational vehicle, travel trailer, camper, and more. Carrying brands like Coleman, Aliner, Troy Bilt, MTD, Grasshopper, Farm King, ECHO, Bearcat, TORO and more. We can fix anything!
We can handle all minor and major services on tractors, combines and implements, ATV's, trailers, commercial landscape equipment, construction equipment and general farm equipment. We also provide parts for all equipment and stock many camping accessories. We can even offer pickup and delivery of your equipment.
We are looking to add an full time Small Engine Technician to our team to take care of our lawn and garden equipment.

Duties include:

  • Inspect and test engines and other mechanical components using test devices to diagnose and isolate faults
  • Adjust, repair or replace mechanical or electrical system parts and components using hand tools and equipment
  • Test and adjust repaired equipment for proper performance
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service on equipment
  • Advise customers on work performed and general condition of equipment
  • Determine estimates of repair cost.

 

Qualifications

  • Experience as a small engine technician preferred, but will train
  • Enthusiasm to learn and grow your skills
  • Knowledge of hand tools and  mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems of lawn and garden equipment
  • Strong communication skills verbally and in writing regarding repairs
  • Ability to work independently and safely

Eligibility

  • Valid G2 or G Driver’s License 
  • Reliable transportation- not on a bus route
  • Clear background check required
