Full-time Community Inclusion Supervisor - Willowbridge Community Services
Full time (32 hours per week, paid for 35 as per 4-day Work Week)

About The Role:
We are looking for a dynamic full-time Community Inclusion Supervisor who will be responsible to guide and support all aspects of the Respite and Passport service including the supervision of Community Inclusion Workers, to ensure adults and children with a developmental disability participate in meaningful
on site and in community respite and social inclusion activities. The Supervisor will support the team in the provision of trauma and attachment informed services that is welcoming and safe, where our clients and their families can find solutions to help reach their potential and support their goals of participating
more fully in their community through work, play and friendship.
Supervisory duties:
- Monitor and improve employee performance by establishing individual performance expectations, providing timely feedback to staff through regular supervision meetings, coaching employees, and completing performance reviews that align with key performance indicators (KPIs).
- In collaboration with the Manager, provide timely and effective orientation for new staff in accordance with the agency’s policies and procedures.
- Participate in Human Resource activities including recruiting, screening, selecting, hiring, professional development, and taking disciplinary action as necessary, and completing performance appraisals.
- Maintain a visible presence for staff and ensure coaching and mentoring as required.
Due to our 4-Day Work Week, this role initially will rotate days off - Mondays-Wednesdays-Fridays on a monthly basis with plans to solidify a constant day off.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in social science or human services field, or equivalent education and experience.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in developmental services sector
- Supervisory experience required.
- CPR/First Aid Certificate (or ability to obtain);
- Safety Care Certification; Availability to work variable hours, including evenings and weekends;
- Flexibility around 4 Day work week day off depending on program schedule.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable, insured vehicle.
- Strong commitment to supporting individuals in actively participating in their community.
- Able to support individuals in their daily living activities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly experienced computer literacy and ability to use Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to provide coverage for the program if short staffed, which entails working with adults and children.
- Strong Time Management skills and the ability to multi-task.
- Must be able to perform manual (1 or 2 person assist) and /or operate mechanical Hoyer lift.
- Knowledge of Passport programs and the PassportONE Portal would be an asset.
