3rd Annual Relay for Mental Health Awareness

How the Relay Will Work

It will be walking 1 kilometre at the most and passing the torch to the next participant on a 24 kilometre route throughout Brantford on October 1st from 10:00am to 4:00pm.

Participants

The relay is for people of any age.  It will be for families and friends to remember and honour loved ones whom lost their struggles to mental illness.  It will also be fore people whom are recovering from any form of mental illness (schizophrenia, bipolar, depression, anxiety, adhd, bulimia, anorexia, PTSD, and other mental health issues) and their family and friends.  The relay is also for the counselors whom support in every way they can.

Celebrating You

There will be a celebration at day's end (3:30pm) at the Sherwood Restaurant.  The Sherwood Restaurant will have a buffet meal for all, entertainment will be by Trysted Sister, and there will also be door prizes and a special gift to the participant whom has raised the most dollar value in pledges.  2 years ago it was an iPad mini, last year was a laptop.

There is no charge, but you must pre-register, no exceptions! Register early as there will be a cap of 100 registrants.  Upon registration you will receive a pledge sheet for the agency you wish to walk for.
