Part Time Cleaner- Domclean Limited
Part-time, Permanent- May become full time
Shifts are 3-5 hours, usually starting at 5:00pm.
Duties
Founded in 1917, Domclean Limited has been providing contract cleaning services to industrial and commercial facilities for over 100 years.
The business has passed down from generation to generation, along with this simple formula for success, “Provide the best possible service with the best possible people”. Domclean is one of only a few building service contractors in North America to achieve ISO registration and all our employees are uniformed, bonded and insured.
Duties include:
- Perform general janitorial duties to ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the facility
- Sweeping and mopping floors, vacuuming carpets
- Emptying office garbage cans and recycling bins
- Dust and wipe down surfaces
- Cleaning and sanitizing lunchrooms, washrooms, exam rooms (if at a doctors office)
- Buff floors with floor machine
- Restock cleaning supplies as needed
- Follow safety protocols and use cleaning equipment properly
Qualifications
- You work well as part of a team as well as independently
- You are reliable, responsible, detail oriented, organized
- You can lift up to 25 pounds, bend, twist stretch etc. All the movements involved in cleaning.
- You bring a positive attitude to work and take pride in your work and the outcome.
- You have previous cleaning experience in a commercial or industrial facility- preferred
- You have experience using floor care equipment -an asset
- You have good communication skills
- You are able to follow instructions and complete all tasks as trained- Thorough training provided
Eligibility
- Criminal Record Check Required
- Must have reliable transportation- not on a bus route
