Duties

Position Summary

Chris Ervins Renovation is seeking motivated and dependable General Labourers to join the construction and renovation team. Successful candidates will assist with residential and commercial renovation projects while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist with construction and renovation projects.
  • Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Perform demolition and site preparation work.
  • Clean and maintain construction and renovation sites.
  • Assist skilled tradespersons such as carpenters, painters, drywall installers, and flooring installers.
  • Operate basic hand and power tools safely.
  • Remove construction debris and dispose of waste materials.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Complete other labour-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Previous construction or renovation experience is an asset but not required.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.
  • Experience using basic hand and power tools is an asset.

Eligibility

  • Legally entitled to work in Canada.
  • Physically capable of performing labour-intensive work.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Must have a reliable mode of transportation to the worksite.
  • Ability to work outdoors and indoors in various conditions.
