Duties

AC Tesla is an electrical system engineering and testing company specializing in normal and emergency electrical distribution equipment.
We are looking to hire a full time Electrical Engineering Application Technologist. 

About the Position
Assist engineers in the design, testing, and implementation of low voltage, medium voltage and high voltage electrical distribution systems.

• Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and documentation.
• Conduct field inspections, troubleshooting, and performance assessments on electrical installations testing of High Voltage Relays.
• Provide service and support for repair and maintenance of new and existing equipment.
• Support the development of control systems, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical codes.
• Operate and maintain electrical testing equipment and diagnostic tools.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance, modifications, and technical issues.
• Preparation and submission of technical proposals.
• Tracking of quotation pipeline
• Conducting site visit based on RFQ and preparation of bill of materials.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or a related field.
  • Certified or eligible for certification with OACETT (or equivalent).
  • 2–5 years of experience in a similar role preferred.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, PLC, ETAP programming, and electrical design software.
  • Strong knowledge of CSA standards and electrical codes.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites as needed.
