Duties

Building homes is like a puzzle. At Ronson Painting, we're proud to be a small part of great companies. As a primary contractor, we're very familiar with the entire building process for projects large and small, and where we as painters fit into that process. Founded and operated from our hometown of Brantford, we travel and paint for clients located throughout Southern Ontario.

We are hiring a Construction Painter to join our team. Work locations may vary. Frequent or constant travel will be required. Own vehicle with a full G license is required

Tasks

  • Prepare, clean and sand surfaces to be painted
  • Repair cracks and holes
  • Erect scaffolding and swing stages and attach rigging
  • Apply paint, wallpaper and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of construction painting experience
  • Comfortable working outdoors and at heights
  • Strong English communication skills
  • Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs

Technical Skills

  • Brush and roller application
  • Drywall taping and patching
  • Paint spraying techniques
  • Wood staining and finishing

Eligibility

  • Valid full G driver’s license with clean driving record (driver’s abstract required)
  • Access to a reliable vehicle

  • Working at Heights certification
  • WHMIS certification
  • CSA-approved steel-toe safety boots
