Chicken Catching Supervisors - First Wing Poultry Services
40 hrs a week
Duties
We’re looking for a reliable, hard-working individual to help with daily farm operations. This role involves safely handling live chickens, vaccination, following biosecurity protocols, and ensuring animal welfare.
Key Duties:
• Catch, handle, and load chickens safely for transport.
• Keep accurate poultry counts and records.
• Clean and disinfect equipment.
• Monitor flock health and assist with vaccinations.
• Follow all safety, biosecurity, and welfare standards.
Qualifications
• Basic understanding of safety and biosecurity.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs and work in farm conditions (dust, odors, low lighting).
• Comfortable working overnight or early morning shifts
• Must wear steel-toe boots and dark-colored clothing.
• Physically fit and willing to follow on-site training.
• G license with a clean driving record
Any other requirements
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Good teamwork and communication.
• Able to stand, bend, and kneel for long periods.
• Attention to detail and quick to follow instructions.
• Positive attitude and adaptability.
Eligibility
Must have a valid driver’s license and clean criminal record check.
