Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm, occasional evenings and weekends required.

Duties

We are recruiting for a Temporary Full Time Employment Supervisor (Contract for 1 year). This role is a vital part of our Employment Program, Supervising staff, overseeing departmental activities, monitoring expenditures, and implementing marketing strategies.  Ensures programs are meeting performance targets and develops campaigns and strategies to improve performance results.

  • Implement effective team communication structures and processes (i.e., team meetings, CMT, presentations, memos)
  • Provide effective supervision and coaching to direct reports, support staff to achieve excellence in their role, identify growth and development opportunities, and use performance management and evaluation structures and policies as appropriate
  • Reviews and approves the closure of client files.
  • Utilizing the Agency’s Client Service Model, facilitates development of strength-based service plans with clients and provides support in working on the plan with clients.
  • Facilitates service coordination and multidisciplinary involvement including conflict resolution and decision-making with internal and external services/programs.

Qualifications

  • College Diploma in Human/Social Services or Business field
  • Career Practitioner/Job Developer certificate is an asset
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a related field
  • Must hold a valid G driver’s license to be able to utilize the agency vehicles for transport between sites. 
  • Mediation / Conflict Resolution / Leadership training preferred

Salary: Starting at $59,709.00 annually.
