Full-time 37.5 hrs./week
Week 1- Sunday to Thursday 800a.m. – 330p.m.
Week 2 – Sunday to Thursday 1130a.m.-700p.m.
Duties
As the Supervisor, Bed-Based Addictions Services, you will provide leadership and oversight across our Withdrawal Management and Treatment programs. This posting primarily supports the Withdrawal Management program, which includes 7 withdrawal management beds within an 18-bed co-located facility, alongside treatment programming.
You will support staff and program operations through day-to-day supervision, staff coaching, and ensuring safe, high-quality care for clients, while promoting harm reduction and dignity. Staff work closely with clients during the early stages of recovery, supporting safe withdrawal, monitoring wellbeing, and creating a respectful and supportive environment.
Provide day-to-day supervision, coaching, and guidance to staff across bed-based programs- including registered and non-registered staff.
• Support staff in providing safe withdrawal care, including withdrawal monitoring and medication practices
• Support the delivery of psychoeducational and recovery-focused programming
• Ensure staff develop individualized client support and transition plans
• Foster a safe, respectful, and trauma-informed environment for clients and staff
• Collaborate with internal teams and community partners to support continuity of care
• Support the safe and effective day-to-day operation of the facility
Qualifications
- College diploma or university degree in a related human services field
• Registration and good standing with a professional regulatory body (e.g., CNO, OCSWSSW, CRPO) preferred
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in addictions or mental health services
• Knowledge of withdrawal management and supporting individuals withdrawing from substances
• Experience supporting staff and program operations in a residential or bed-based setting is an asset
• Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills
• Valid First Aid/CPR certification
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic client record systems
• Access to reliable transportation
• Ability to work in an environment with exposure to direct and vicarious trauma

- Salary: Registered professionals: $32.94 – $36.51 per hour
Non-registered professionals: $30.29 – $33.59 per hour - Benefits: Comprehensive health, dental, vision, and travel insurance
