22.5 hours per week – Tuesday-Friday are evening shifts. Saturday morning 4 hour shift.
Duties
We are recruiting for a Part Time Facilities Cleaner. This role is a vital part of our Administrative Team, creating safe, clean, and welcoming spaces for our clients and staff. This role is essential to maintaining the quality and professionalism of our facilities, ensuring that every environment reflects our commitment to care and excellence. You will work across multiple sites in Brantford, with access to an agency vehicle stocked with supplies. Though you may work behind the scenes, you play a critical role in our ability to deliver programs and services effectively.
Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors
Clean and stock restrooms
Disinfect kitchens and common areas
Ensure meeting spaces are clean and professional
Dust and remove trash
Use a work order system to report needed repairs, including flagging health & safety concerns
Collaborate with facilities staff on larger cleaning or maintenance projects
Qualifications
Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent
At least 1 year of experience in general cleaning
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods
Comfort working with cleaning supplies and occasional outdoor tasks
Police Check required (consideration given to type of offense)
