Full-time Mon to Fri, 37.5 hrs/week with flexibility to meet the needs of the organization
Duties
- Organize and prioritize facilities tasks to meet operational and safety needs
- Conduct regular inspections and coordinate repairs and renovations
- Manage contractors and monitor compliance with building codes and Agency standards
- Respond promptly to internal facilities requests and resolve issues effectively
- Work hands-on alongside the facilities team to complete repairs, maintenance tasks, and minor renovations as needed
- Maintain accurate records for budgeting and capital planning
- Consult with agency leaders to develop and implement a proactive maintenance and capital replacement plan
- Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, contractors, and stakeholders
- Participate as a member of the Agency Management Team, contributing to organizational planning and decision-making
- Participate in health and safety initiatives and serve on the Joint Health and Safety Committee
Qualifications
- College diploma in a related field
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction, maintenance, or project management
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Proficiency in MS Office and database systems
- Flexibility in working hours to ensure operational continuity
