37.5 hours per week. Monday-Friday with flexibility for evening work.
Duties
We are recruiting for a Temporary Full Time Administrative Support position. This role is a vital part of our Addictions and Mental Health Program, supporting all staff within the multi-program division of Addictions and Mental Health Services through providing information, referral services, and administrative support.
Maintains a mailing list, which includes internal and external stakeholders.
Catalogues and maintains an electronic centralized resource library required for program delivery.
Collates Naloxone data for Ministry of Health submissions.
Monitors stock and orders Naloxone supplies for Agency.
Monitors office supplies and equipment, makes recommendations for purchases, completes purchase orders and places approved orders.
Assists with the management of departmental petty cash, as required.
Accepts payment for client file requests.
Makes minor purchases of program supplies and provides receipts.
Designs, coordinates and updates client and staff information boards.
Provides first response to client issues, including giving guidance, assisting with equipment and managing difficult situations.
Greets and screens clients to determine eligibility for services and refers to appropriate personnel or agency.
Qualifications
Minimum Grade 12, college preferred, minimum 3 years’ administration experience
Must be able to work well under pressure, while providing exceptional client service, strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and working with databases
Must have reliable transportation

Salary: Starting at $40,716.00 annually.
