Duties
SOAR Community Services is seeking a highly organized and collaborative Administrative Supervisor to lead and coordinate administrative support across multiple departments. This key leadership role ensures smooth day-to-day operations, supports the Senior Leadership Team, and facilitates communication with the Board of Directors. The successful candidate will bring strong organizational, interpersonal, and supervisory skills to foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement. This role plays a vital part in maintaining agency standards and contributing to strategic initiatives. This part-time position is ideal for an experienced administrative professional or executive assistant seeking flexible hours and an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in their community.
What You’ll Do
- Supervise and coach administrative staff, fostering growth and ensuring effective team communication
 - Coordinate administrative workflows and tasks across departments
 - Provide support to the Senior Leadership Team and assist with Board communications and meeting logistics
 - Maintain and update agency policies, procedures, and documentation systems
 - Collaborate with human resources to coordinate staff training, maintain records, and provide backup support for tasks such as preparing job postings and managing administrative documentation
 - Assist with accreditation activities and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and agency policies
 - Track and manage office supplies across multiple sites
 - Collaborate on agency events and maintain promotional inventory
 - Facilitate administrative team meetings and ensure equitable task distribution
 - Provide occasional reception coverage and maintain a welcoming environment for clients and guests
 
Qualifications
- College Diploma in business administration, office management, or related field
 - Minimum 3 years’ experience in administrative leadership/executive support
 - Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
 - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
 - Must have access to reliable transportation, as some travel may be required
