Mobile Crisis Response Team (MCRT)

The Mobile Crisis Response Team (MCRT) responds to 911 calls where mental health concerns and/or crises are identified. The team pairs a Mental Health Specialist from SOAR Community Services with a police officer from Brantford Police Services or Brant County OPP.

The team provides:

Assessment of risk to the safety of the person and others
On-site safety planning
De-escalation
Stabilization strategies
Referrals to ongoing services provided by SOAR Community Services or community partners
